As the world continues to carefully watch the spread of COVID-19, we as a church want to be diligent to prepare ourselves, promote the safety and well-being of our people, and to partner with our communities to help prevent the spread of the virus.

However, while we are committed to walking in wisdom, we also are reminded that Jesus is our source of HOPE and that He has not given us a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Jesus has defeated sin and death, rules forever, and sustains us in uncertainty.

And we are committed to BEING His church and offering His hope to the world!

Here is an overview of the steps we are taking:

1 – ONLINE WORSHIP OPTION. At this time, we have not canceled any physical gathering for the weekend. We do recognize the need to do so could arise at any moment.

However, we want to provide you with the ability to attend from home via interactive live stream on Sunday morning at 9:30am and 11:00am. The service will be hosted at We will also share a link within the next couple of days on our home page and on social media.

Please know that health officials are cautioning those over 60 and those who are immune-compromised to avoid large crowds.

Additionally, if you exhibit any symptoms, please remain home and take advantage of the online worship experience.

2 – NO “TURN-AND-GREET. We are encouraging everyone to limit hand contact for your safety and for the safety of others.

3 – SANITIZING STATIONS. We are increasing the presence of hand sanitizing stations across all campuses, especially in lobby areas. Please use these as you enter and exit the building.

4 – RBKids. Our RBKids team will ensure that children wash their hands or sanitize after drop-off and before pick-up. We are also giving extra attention to sanitizing rooms before and after our services.

5 – GIVING/OFFERING COLLECTION. Campuses may decide not to pass offering baskets during our service. We still believe giving is an act of worship so we will have baskets or drop boxes available as you exit our services.

Additionally, online giving is an easy, safe and secure way to worship God through giving.

6 – LOCALIZED PRECAUTIONS & COOPERATION. At each of our campuses, our campus pastors are connecting with local officials and making decisions to promote the safety and wellbeing of our attenders. If a physical gathering is not possible, campuses will be encouraged to join our interactive online experience. We are also staying in close communication with local and regional officials to do whatever is necessary to help prevent the spread of the virus.

At this time, Hixson Middle School is not available to us for weekend services. We will share more details as they become available.

7 – PRAYER, COMPASSION & GOSPEL. Let’s commit to praying for those who have been impacted by the virus, and also for its spread to end. In seasons of darkness and uncertainty, we have an opportunity to be a beacon of hope as ambassadors of King Jesus! To echo the words of Paul, “Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you” (2 Thessalonians 3:1).

Our current series, “30 Days to Live” is a great opportunity for people to hear about what God has already won for us through the life of His Son Jesus.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we navigate this uncharted territory. We will continue to provide updates as they are available.

Let’s continue to LIVE SENT and BE THE CHURCH!
