Rock Bridge Kids Values

We are Kingdom Seekers

Rock Bridge Kids encourages kids to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ and develop that relationship as an active disciple.  RBKids has a weekly focus on foundational Bible stories and the Gospel is presented often. Spiritual disciplines are taught and encouraged and missions are highlighted regularly.

We are Bridge Builders

Rock Bridge Kids wants guests and attenders to feel welcomed in a remarkable way.  Our programming is designed to appeal to today’s family and is inclusive for those who may have no church background.  Throughout the year RBKids offers many opportunities for people to invite friends, family, and neighbors.

We Break the Huddle

Rock Bridge Kids always seeks to be innovative and creative so that we are relevant in our regional culture. Our staff teams and volunteers train regularly together, embrace change, and implement new strategies.

We Strive for Excellence

Rock Bridge Kids strives to provide the most excellent kids ministry in Northwest Georgia and the Tennessee Valley. Our inviting environments, high volunteer expectations, and commitment to evaluation and improvement help us achieve a high level of excellence.

We are One

Rock Bridge Kids seeks unity between all our locations in regard to vision, preparation, and execution. We gather together whenever possible to celebrate victories, share challenges, and know each other better.  Unity encourages our staff teams and volunteers as we work toward our overall mission of connecting kids from all walks of life to life in Christ.

special needs ministry (1)

Our Special Needs Ministry exists to provide love and support to children with disabilities. The goal is to connect kids from all walks of life to life in Christ by teaching them about the love of Jesus. It is our heart to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. We provide a variety of safe, secure, specialized, but inclusive environments that best fit the needs of your child. We believe in the continued spiritual development of children of all ages and abilities.

(At this time this ministry is available at the Ringgold and Dalton campus only)

SPECIAL NEEDS RESOURCES AVAILABLE

  • Buddies = A “buddy” program available at select service (depending on the campus) for a bridge builder to buddy with your child (2 yr olds - 5th grade) while you attend the service. Parents will bring the child to meet their buddy in their room. This option is for kids to be included in our large group and small group RBKids environments. They have the opportunity for a sensory break as needed.

  • Sensory Room/Self-Contained Room = This room is for children who require a smaller one/one setting due to medical conditions or other reasons. Parents will bring their children to the sensory room to meet their buddy for the service.

In order to accommodate a new child, we require a registration form to be completed prior to attending.

The special needs ministry is done in partnership with your family and relies on commitments from both Rock Bridge Community Church and you.

How do we learn?

  • Large Groups consist of games, active worship, and relevant Bible teaching through creative drama, live storytelling, interactive media, and so much more. We make the Bible come to life during large group.
  • Small Groups consist of activities that build relationships between kids and leaders and teach them how to live out the Bible in their lives every day.  Small group is designed with your kid in mind so they can meet and understand Jesus on their level.
