Have you downloaded the latest version of the Rock Bridge App?

If not—go for it! Just search “Rock Bridge App” in the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android). To see what version you have, scroll to the bottom of your Settings in the app.

Is your phone’s operating system up to date?

To run the latest version of the app, your device needs a compatible operating system (OS).

In the App or Play Store, scroll to the app’s “Compatibility” section under Information, then match that with your phone’s OS in your device settings.

Have you cleared offline data in the app?

Once you've updated your app and device's OS, clearing offline data helps make sure you’re seeing the most current info and improves loading speed. Just go to Settings in the app and select “Clear Offline Data.”

Still not working after all that?

We get it—it’s frustrating. If you’ve updated everything and cleared offline data but the app still isn’t working, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. We know it sounds simple, but it really does solve a lot of issues!

Other Tips to Try:

• Turn off your VPN if you’re using one — it can interfere with how the app connects to data.

• Try Wi-Fi only: Disable cellular data and connect to Wi-Fi.

• Switch Wi-Fi networks: Still not working? Connect to a different Wi-Fi network and keep cellular data off.

• Try cellular data only: Turn off Wi-Fi and see if the app works on your mobile data connection.

How do I add my prayer request?

You can add your prayer request in two places: in the Daily tab under “Pray for Others,” where you’ll be prompted to add your request after praying for others, or anytime on the home page under “Community Prayer,” where you can hit the plus sign next to your profile picture.

Can I read the whole Bible in the app?

Not the whole Bible—but you can access curated daily Scripture year-round. We hope to bring this feature in the near future. 

Which version of the Bible is used?

We use the CSB (Christian Standard Bible) for all Scripture in the app.

How do I create a journal entry?

Tap the comment icon in the bottom-right corner of a devotional. Once it expands, you’ll see the “add a response” option at the bottom of your screen.

How long are my journal entries stored?

Indefinitely. Your reflections and notes are saved as long as your account is active.

Where do I view my streak progress?

On the app’s Daily tab, tap “View History” to see your Daily Habit Progress. This shows a calendar with the days you’ve completed at least one daily habit—Scripture, Prayer, or Gratitude.

At the top of this page, you’ll find your current streak and best streak.

What counts toward my daily streak?

Completing any one of these daily habits: Gratitude, Prayer, or Devotional.

How does the Devotional streak work?

Read devotional daily and keep the streak alive! Here’s what to know:

After reading the devotional, truth, application, and discussion sections, tap the comment icon in the bottom right corner and add your response to complete your devotional habit.

Each day runs from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM EST.

When your devotional streak counts, the Scripture icon changes color and shows a checkmark on the Daily tab.

What about the Prayer streak?

Pray daily for someone in the community and add your own prayer to keep the Prayer streak going.

What about the Gratitude streak?

Answer the daily gratitude prompts to keep your streak. You can also set these responses to private if you prefer.

Disclaimer:

The streak feature is designed to encourage daily growth in your relationship with Jesus. If you miss a day, that’s okay! We want the streak to be honest, so there’s no way to manually adjust it.

Where can I see my small group or serve team?

Tap the Communities tab to find your group chats. These automatically sync with your My Rock Bridge account, so you can connect with any groups you’re part of.

If you don’t see your group or team, please reach out in the App Support group chat or contact your group or team leader.

How do I manage my notifications for “X”?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Notification Settings to customize what you receive.

Where can I give within the app?
Open the Rock Bridge App and tap the “Give Online” button at the bottom of the home, next steps, or resources tabs. You can sign in to your My Rock Bridge account or give as a guest.

Choose a one-time or recurring gift, select your campus, and complete the rest of the form to finish giving.

Do you store my financial information?
No. Your financial information is never stored in the app. All giving is handled securely through Touchpoint Giving (known as the My Rock Bridge portal).
