A special celebration where parents make a public commitment to raise their children according to the Word of God.

About the Service

Our Family Commitment Service is a special time of prayer to publicly commit to put God first in your home and trust Him as your source of direction as you lead your family. Alongside your guests and our church family, you will agree to do your best to lead your kids into a trusting and loving relationship with Jesus Christ. At Rock Bridge, we are honored to help parents glorify God by connecting their kids to life in Christ!

Is this service for me?

  • I am parent or legal guardian who has placed my faith and trust in Jesus Christ
  • I am ready to commit to raising my child(ren) towards becoming a disciple of Christ
  • I am legally married or I am single and honoring God in my singleness
  • I have an infant, toddler or older child who I have not already publicly committed to raising towards life in Christ
  • I am prepared to model life in Christ for my child(ren) and welcome the support and accountability that the church will offer
  • I understand that this service does not equal baptism, my child(ren) will not be saved, or secured a place in heaven, and it will not produce a problem-free, perfect child
