Main Point: I will step up to serve and encourage others.

Bible Basis: Barnabas stepped up to encourage and serve. (Acts 4:36–37; 13:1–3; 15:36–41)

Key Verse: “Carry one another’s heavy loads. If you do you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Small Group Discussion Questions:

How did Barnabas help Paul? (God sent Barnabas to not only encourage Paul in his faith, but to also encourage the other believers that God really had changed Paul’s heart. Barnabas also travelled with Paul and they taught others about Jesus together!)
Who can you encourage today? What will you say or do to encourage them? (Talk with your kids about who in their life they can encourage and help them brainstorm ways they can do that.)
This is our last week with our current Bible verse. Take the time with your kids to go over the verse a few times. See if you can begin saying it without looking! (“Carry one another’s heavy loads. If you do you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2)
